IT WAS HILARIOUS. Turns out this dude Al Smith, that’s what they call this big dinner the Al Smith dinner. It’s a huge Annual fundraiser for Catholic charities.
Al Smith was the first Catholic Governor of New York. He was Governor of New York four times. So this dinner is a very famous event if you’re rich and Catholic. Turns out Al Smith was a very cool man, using his office for real service to his country. That’s what they say, I have no personal experience of Al’s effect on America. But I’m sure indirectly I have felt the effect of every humanitarian that has existed in this world. For my life is good for the most part. Everybody who was white and somebody was there. Mostly politicos’ like Hilary Clinton, looking pretty good to, looks like she’s been drinking a little laughing mouth all big and shit. And the playa’ of them all, the Archbishop himself was there, with his gear on flying red colors.
Anyway why am I informing my readers of this event is because, I know most of you have never heard of it, like me. And you won’t believe who was there and what they were doing. Obama and McCain we’re co-headlining the event. What I mean is that they were there to snap on each other to roast each other and other colleagues. To tell jokes, you know I wouldn’t bullshit you guys.
I was surprised to see this, Obama was sittin’ with all these rich folks who’ve been running our country for the longest.
He was lookin’ so, Presidential, you can already see your reflection in this brotha’. Can you?

This is an event that in no way is popular with the brotha’s. Obama’s ass would’ve been parking cars there less than twenty years ago. It was fuckin’ hilarious to watch this if you’ve been black as long as me.
The two candidates went at each other respectfully though. You would’ve thought these guys were the best of friends. I’m not bull-shitin’.

You have to check it out you might catch a repeat on MSNBC in the days to come. Look out for it if you like the funny.

I knew McCain was going to be funny because he’s been down right funny running his entire campaign. Every debate I’ve seen, I have said he should consider doing some stand-up comedy. Not for a living but to crack the boys up in between Senate votes. Let McCain come to the mic before the Senate convenes and do a tight 15mins. It might help with the Senates decision making if they could inject some humor on the floor. Soon they can have open-mic at the White House.

McCain is on David Lettermen’s tonight and Dave asked him about the racist remarks shouted out at his rallies. McCain’s funny ass, jumps right on the defense and says you should hear the stuff at Obama rallies.
He said, and tell me if I’m trippin? That there is a French element at Obama’s rallies that say bad things about him. I’m telling you this dude is funny. What’s he’s talking about? Have you ever heard of a French, KKK rally? I don’t think so.
Obama, was good on the mic, at this high powered Al Smith dinner.
Now, he was his funniest when he thought the joke he was telling was funny.

But it’s obvious to me after McCain had spoke so highly of Obama in his close. When Obama, closed and gave some of the same kind words to McCain, he did it Presidentially. He had the audiences ears and attention.

I really believe we are about to see the first “Black President”. I remember my Grandaddy, telling me that a white woman told him when he was just 15 years old. That in his life time he’d probably see a black mail carrier.
Think about that, in his life time.(pause)

That’s as far as this white woman could see at that time. My Grandaddy has lived to see 94, and if God is wiling and he is too, he’ll probably see 95 Jan 10th. And the first ‘Black President” of the United States of America.
If McCain wins it’s probably going to kill em’ . But in my Grandaddy’s own words “Anytime now son”, “Anytime now”.

OBAMA SPEAKS UNIVERSALLY NOT JUST ABOUT ONE GUY LIKE “JOE THE PLUMBER”. MCCAIN SAYS HE WANTS TO GIVE “JOE THE PLUMBER” ALL THE MONEY AND LET HIM SPREAD THE WEALTH AROUND. Shiiit, these two have spent so much time smearing each other, McCain you started it, and Obama, with the help of reporters, had to make you end it.
I’m hoping it’s over, I hope these guys use this debate spending mo’ time talking about America’s well being then each other. You feelin’ me America? we know enough about these two to last at least a year.
I’m feeling these two should just get a room, or a boxing ring I haven’t decided which one would really have an effect on the other. But they can leave us out of there tug a war politics. But I’m blaming McCain for creating this hellish atmosphere surrounding this campaign. Obama, tried to be cool compliment the dude but cream him on the issues. Especially John McCains’ support for Pres. Bush’s policies. But John ran out of ammo, when the financial crisis came to light and start getting dirtier then a mudder-fucka’, I know CNN wish they could say shit like this. That’s why this New Media, internet is going to be the biggest source for everything in the future. Because we can get what we need to know now, and not wait for these bullshit reporters to catch up with us. Ha, they be late compared to the streets, the streets always knows what goes on first when it comes to the American people. The Elitist have there own ways it’s lonely but comfortable but not really real.
I know quite a few of them, nice people but just not in touch with the earth.
We have less than a month to choose one of these candidates. And to feel good about it. I feel like the whole thing is a crap shoot.

You must be feeling pretty bad about that now that your candidate is getting hated on because of the color of his skin or the mention of his name. I have some white friends that just lose it when people start to act like this. They hate, hate and I love em’ for it. I believe “HATE KILLS THE HATER”.

How could this still be going on? You ask your-self.
You wasn’t try to hear it when your friend Jerome or Tyrone. Was trying to tell you that a black man is still hated on in this country. And you said to him get real that’s not happening anymore. And you guys argued about nothing that day. Because you,(the cool white friend) wants it to be over with. Doesn’t mean that it is. Actually it doesn’t mean that at all.
And believe me black people wish it was over with too. We(I) don’t even like bringing this stuff up around our white friends. And if this man Obama, makes it to the White House it might have a future effect on racism.
It might be a subtle way to put an end to it in about fifty seven years. But I hope people don’t vote for Obama, because of this issue. And I hope women don’t vote for Palin because she’ a woman. I hope people vote with sound minds and fair judgment. And with a respect and consideration for all people just not their people.

But for now a “Black Man in the White House” is impossible. Until the possible happens it is in impossible. And many white folks know it but won’t admit it.
Because your truest desire is that it isn’t so. But that desire is just denial. When someone hates on any of my white friends I get mad and do what ever I can do to diminish that feeling.
By informing the offenders that they’re wrong especially when it comes to the great friends I have who happen to be so light skinned that they’re considered white.
But they love all people including me and have a hard time with this kind of hate. They don’t want to feel responsible for the other half of the country who can’t stop this ignorance. And I personally do what I can to not make them feel responsible. For this kind of hate that still continues to circle black people in America.
They are people who love me and other black people in there lives and around the world. I hope they know NOW though, that half of the country just doesn’t feel like they do. And that’s okay.
And there friends who are black don’t blame them. But you shouldn’t criticize or blame any black friends of yours who still feel and are aware of the hatred right here in America.
I know before the O.J. trial(the 1st one) you wouldn’t believe it. And you weren’t buying it from your home-boy.

But the shit(racism)is still so real. And I don’t like having to be the one to explain that to any white friends I have. I believe they should already know it and quit trying to make me feel like I’m imaging things. When I bring it up to them. I don’t like when that happens with one of my friends.
And this Presidential race, including the Palin/McCain ticket is evidence of such clear existence of racism. (“That One”)
So let’s not argue about it amongst each other any more let’ ‘s have confidence in each other. That way when your black friend says he was hated on today. You won’t say to him that doesn’t happen anymore and give him/her a hard time for confiding in you about it.

He/She, just thought you were friends and they could relate to you and you to them regardless of color. Sometimes we black folks get comfortable around our white friends and believe we can confide in them as if they were really are friends. And they wouldn’t judge me or me judge them because of color.

But it still happens many of my close white friends have argued this very thing with me. Racism isn’t real anymore, as I’ve always said to them that’s only in your house. Outside your house it’s on fire.

I Love you all, I’m fortunate to have friends that could make up a new UN. Instead they make up a family to me. My Brothers and My Sisters of all colors I love you and you who know me, know that’s true.
